CGE Energy’s RAMP Lighting Maintenance Program Grows to Over 19,000,000 Square Feet in the Midwest

Posted on in News

BRIGHTON, MI – Today CGE Energy (soon to be merging with McKenzie Bay International, MKBY:OTCPink, on January 31st, 2015) announced over 100% growth in their R.A.M.P. Lighting Maintenance program in 2014. The energy solutions provider now covers over 19,000,000 square feet of commercial facilities in the Midwest, such as Oakland Mall and Madonna University. The proprietary R.A.M.P. business model provides unlimited service calls, labor, equipment, and replacement lamps under one low monthly payment.

“We looked at the square footage we have under contract and it’s substantial,” said Bryan Zaplitny, President of CGE Energy. “That represents hundreds of thousands of lights that we ensure always remain lit and shining bright as well as helping our customers’ facilities stay safe and secure year-round.”

Zaplitny believes that by building ongoing maintenance relationships, it provides long-term sustainability to the Michigan-based energy service company. With CGE Energy going public at the end of the month, he says R.A.M.P. has become a long-term revenue source that plays an important role on the company’s yearly financials.

“It makes great business sense to both us and our customers. We have proved the R.A.M.P. model and are working with our strategic partners to expand this program into city-wide contracts to support municipal streetlights.”

Zaplitny touts CGE Energy’s R.A.M.P. service as “worry-free” with service crews being able to make a repair within 24-36 hours following a reported outage. He compares it to other services a business outsources, like lawn care or window washing.

“RAMP has helped us simplify our lighting repairs so that we can spend more time focusing on our business,” said Steve Whitener, owner of Briarwood Ford and long-time RAMP customer.
