CGE Energy Sets the PACE with Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Financing

Posted on in News

Brighton, MI— CGE Energy (currently trading as MKBY:OTCPink) has a vision that clean, renewable energy should be available to all, and access to capital and financing should not be a hindrance. To make this a reality, CGE Energy has developed its proprietary Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). In these PPA projects, CGE Energy makes the capital investment and the only thing its customers pay for is the energy that is generated on site, which is purchased at a lower rate than the customer’s current energy bill.

To further give financing options to fit each customers needs, CGE Energy recently became a trained and certified contractor in Michigan’s PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program. The program allows property owners to access 100% upfront financing using long-term loans, making energy efficiency and clean energy investment more affordable. Almost any project that reduces energy, water usage, or installs renewable energy systems is eligible.

CGE Energy President and CEO Bryan Zaplitny said that the addition of PACE lets the company “bring a simple financial energy solution to any business seeking renewable energy.” He continued, “This fits within our objective to offer projects that are cash flow positive from the first day of installation, so we meet all financial, environmental and social objectives that a company might have.”

CGE Energy has already begun to assist companies with major energy savings. Past customers have saved an average of $4,000 a month on energy bills. A large part of those savings comes from upgrading light fixtures to Cree LED lighting.
