Letter from CGE Energy President Bryan Zaplitny
Posted on in NewsTo our shareholders, partners and friends,
January 31st marked our merger with McKenzie Bay International, making the month of February the beginning of new and exciting times for the collective company. I, like everyone else, am eager to begin trading as ‘CGE Energy.’ February also saw favorable meetings in Chicago and New York, the addition of new team members and the start of some major projects, all of which will be shared in detail as things progress.
When given the opportunity to speak with the public, most are satisfied to simply give a brief update that says in essence “things are good.” But I’m not satisfied with leaving it there.
Here’s how I view things: we have the ability and, most important, the responsibility to accomplish significant things through what we do. CGE Energy is reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption nationwide and now doing business internationally, in line with the United States’ Caribbean Energy Security Initiative. I have mentioned before the importance of businesses and individuals becoming global stewards. This means more than simply trying to maintain the status quo. It means being ready and willing to stir things up a bit. It means seeing opportunities to make a difference and availing yourself to those opportunities.
The Power to Think Differently
I see more examples of people becoming global stewards every day, and I believe this has the potential to spread into several other aspects of life. At CGE Energy, our convictions, our values and our ethics are predicated on seeing things differently and addressing needs as they arise, and we do all of this with honesty and integrity. What we do may not always be seen as PC, but we dare to make a difference, and we dare to dream.
In the coming weeks, we will unveil more of the exciting projects that are underway, but in the meantime, I encourage our shareholders, partners and friends to begin to think differently about the world around us in order to leave the most impact we can together. What are the most important environmental and economic issues facing us today that stand to face latter generations as well? What can we do to tackle these challenges? I encourage you today to dream with CGE Energy, and to partner with us as we provide real solutions for real challenges.
Sincerely,
Bryan Zaplitny
President/CEO, CGE Energy
